OK — been using this thing for about five months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an each way return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here yankee bet calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
What actually changed how I bet were the more serious tools. The implied probability thing which shows you the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. The design feels pretty plain — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
Right — been using this thing for about five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I never could get my head round what an e/w payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the one I use most — you put in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at yankee accumulator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the more serious bits. They’ve got an implied probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s usable but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but you asked.
Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

Right — been using this thing for about a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was genuinely a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in before every slip, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get the return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here calculate a patent bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.
One thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the more serious extras. There’s an probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.
It’s not perfect mind. Its layout is a bit basic — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine although the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Right — been on this thing for maybe four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, either odds format. There’s also the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you want a look, it lives at oddsmatcher calculator — free, no signup.
The thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the geekier extras. They’ve got an probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels very functional, let’s say — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine although the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
Right — been using this thing for about six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d say something since a mate asked me the other day. Am in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, for context.
The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out profit and total return instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at how many horses in a lucky 15 — free, no signup.
The thing that really shifted things for me is the geekier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. Its layout looks pretty plain — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
So yeah. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

So — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mostly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could work out what an e/w return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the bit I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where I always got it wrong. The thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the nerdier bits. The probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, and a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its interface feels pretty plain — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.
