主人的聲音彷彿穿越人海而來，熟悉剛強的臉對她微笑，她是要融化的雪了。
她等著阿布結完帳，來到她的面前，他還是那樣的英俊挺拔。她仰著頭就像從前一樣，他們走了一段路，她依然走在他後面，她仍記得奴隸是要走在主人之後，不能僭越。他停下腳步回頭笑著說：「我們可以並肩走喔。」他左手插在口袋裏，彎曲的手臂，小雪下意識地就要勾起主人的手，可是理性阻止了她。當阿布問起她怎麼跑來醫院，她提起先生的事，開口好難，口中的先生竟然已經不是主人專用的詞了，心隱隱作痛。
他們走了一段，終於走到要分離的地方。「小雪，很高興能再見到你。」
「主人，小雪也是。」
「偷叫主人喔！」他沒有摸她的頭搔搔她的黑髮就離開了。沒有說再見，到底是見還是不見。
在電梯的角落，鏡子輕易掀開她的流淚。眼淚無所遁逃，還有人在，不能哭啊。
逃出電梯，趁著四處無人，她哭了起來，啜泣顫抖著肩膀。
「你怎麼哭了？」被自己先生看見，該怎麼解釋。她牽起他的手，靜靜地把眼淚擦淨。智清沒有說話也沒多問，擔心她哭泣的理由是與自己有關。
